Welcome to Chapter 19

Lakewood Chapter 19, Inc. was formed in 1964 to aid the disabled veterans, their families and surviving dependents in Lakewood, California and surrounding areas.

Ever since that time, the local veterans have had a force that will fight for them when they file for benefits from the veterans administration.

Chapter 19 hosts bingo at the Long Beach Veterans Medical Center and participates in functions presented by the 9th District DAV and supports trips by the patients, such as fishing trips and sporting events.

Lakewood, California Chapter 19 is part of a nationwide nonprofit organization offering support services to all veterans and members of their families.

Our services are provided for free. We rely on support from contributions of local businesses and generous people just like you who care about our veterans.
